Digital Matte Painter Tanya Rochat is a talented matte painter, artist and photographer with an advanced skill set in professional photography, digital matte painting, illustrations, paintings, drawings and fashion design to create photo-realistic matte paintings out of digital still photography, cg elements and digital paint to create believable environments that can be seamlessly integrated into a film.

Advanced photography skills with an emphasis on composition, depth, lighting and colour and member of the ACMP and AIPP

Qualifications and education in art / design
Constantly studying new and advanced skills in Adobe CS3, digital matte painting techniques, colour management etc with a subscription to Lynda.com and DVD’s from the gnomon workshop for the last 4 years. Tanya is recognized by her peers as an advanced expert on Photoshop CS3 and Illustrator CS3.
Studied photography at the New York Institute of photography
Qualified fashion designer diploma
Completed high school in 1993 with a grade of A+ (90%+) for visual arts and was the top of the class for 3 years running
